Computer-Based Assessment for Learning CBAfL:

 Discussion assignment unit 6

The assessment refers not only to the systematic collection and analysis of information about the learner - what people usually think when they hear the term evaluation - but also to interpret information about learners' understanding and/or performance and to act accordingly concerning educational objectives. (Bennett, 2011; Pellegrino, Chudowsk & Glaser, 2001)

assessment for classroom learning is an ongoing assessment that allows teachers to monitor their students daily and also allows teachers to adjust their teaching based on what their students need to succeed in the classroom. This assessment provides students and teachers with the specific feedback they need to make adjustments to their learning (Learner Alberta n.d.). implementing this assessment includes many reasons for example modifying the teacher's instructions, and speeding up and refining the feedback teaching process, which helps teachers get a clear view of how their students learn and how they understand what was taught to them in the classroom. (Shute, V., & Rahimi, s.,2017)

computer-based assessment for learning CBAfL:

Shute & Rahimi 2017 mentioned that computer-based assessment for learning is the use of information technology to conduct any activity assessment that is used to assess students' cognitive abilities and there are two main objectives of CBAfL in classroom contexts: (a) to provide appropriate and timely observations to students and (b) to allocate learning.

would welcome the use of computer-based formative assessments in your classroom

In my class, I already use computer-based assessment, especially in distance learning during the Corona pandemic, and I rely on several electronic platforms such as Kahoot or quizezz, where these platforms provide immediate results and give feedback to both the student and the teacher, where the student makes sure that he understands the learning objectives set by the teacher in this electronic test. And for the teacher, enable him to ensure that students understand the learning goals are achieved. It provides different levels of students through their results available in the immediate electronic report, which enables the teacher to provide improvement plans for lower achiever students as well as middle-level students to reach all students to the level of their peers with higher achievers and CBAfl save a long time was spent by the teacher to prepare and grading the exams(Shute, V., & Rahimi, s.,2017), so I am welcome the computer-based formative assessment in my classroom.
