EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE


Courses in the following integrated modalities will add value to the preferred candidate. Please send any additional qualifications, interests, and experiences that contribute to your holistic lifestyle.

-   Candidate with Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science/Education/Kinesiology is at an advantage.

-   A qualified candidate should have a proven track record of a minimum of three to six years of experience in a senior class instructor and floor training role, with demonstrable results and exceptional communication skills.

-   Required Skills: Coaching, Outcome-Based Program Design, Team Management, Organizational, Relational & Emotional, and IT skills. 

-   Essential Qualifications: Certified Personal Trainer,Nutrition Specialist along with a minimum of 2 other specialization/certificates (such as Transformation, Corrective Exercise, et. from NASM, ISSA, AFA, ACE, etc.), CPR/First Aid are essential.

-   Must have knowledge of current sport & fitness trends in the industry. 

-   Must be willing to add value to enhance health, safety, and productivity as well as maintain TB to thrive on being a smoke-free workplace.

-   Passionate about Sport & Exercise Science, Holistic Wellness and keen to continually keep learning.  

-   Experienced in being an integral point of contact for esteemed Bridge customers.

-   Able to guide, support, and collaborate with cross-functional teams as well as The Bridge members to ensure success.

Internal Communications Manager (Bilingual, Arabic and English)

We are urgently looking for a bilingual (Arabic and English) Internal Communications Manager to join our Brand and Communications Team at Abu Dhabi.


This is a full time permanent Job with Etisalat Corporate Office.


Principal Functions:

Accountable to manage the internal communications between the company, top management team and employees, ensuring messages are conveyed effectively and in a timely and accurate manner to relevant staff.  Manages internal events and complaints / queries raised by staff and find the suitable way to resolve them. Create the effective communication channels reply to the concerned accordingly. Manage and plan all comm. Requirements to different projects.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Contribute in developing Strategies, Plans and all internal communications activity, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
  2. Manages outward path and return path for all staff communications
  3. Develops key messages related to staff to synergize communication activities of the corporate
  4. Support relevant stakeholders and Top management on communicating with staff
  5. Spearheads the strategy behind main internal communications tools i.e. intranet, internal magazine, internal events
  6. Develops other information dissemination tools within the corporation
  7. Monitors staff issues via surveys and other feedback channels
  8. Manage all internal events, including corporate events for CEO and Top Team
  9. Manages everyday activities of the team.
  10. Synergize all internal events (social, sport, etc.)
  11. Coordinate all issues related to the internal magazine and intranet.
  12. Manage all internal key message to ensure formality and synergy
  13. Manages agencies along with output to ensure with quality and assurance to SLA

14.Performs any other related duties, as required


Knowledge, Experience & Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably Business Administration and communication background and HR.
  • 4 – 5 years of communications experience in a large organization with senior position with comm. Skills and tech background.
  • Fluently bilingual - Arabic and English.

National Medical Library – Unit Head of Instruction and Scholarly Communication

 The Role


The Unit Head leads the Instruction and Scholarly Communications at the National Medical Library to support students, faculty and staff of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences (CMHS), UAE University. This leadership position will provide information literacy programming for students, faculty and associated researchers as well as direct support in the use and application of academic information resources and support tools, specifically in the medical and health sciences.


Reporting to the Dean of Libraries, the Unit Head of Instruction and Scholarly Communications will design, plan and deliver information literacy sessions and workshops to medical students, post graduates and faculty including individuals, small groups, and classroom settings. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will be able to create online and printed guides to promote medical information resources and point of care tool to the CMHS community.

Required skills and competencies

  • Progressive record of leadership and effective engagement with faculty.
  • Substantial knowledge of the historical and current trends and practices in scholarly publishing.
  • Management and budgetary experience.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively mentor library professionals and staff, and facilitate the work of others.
  • Understanding of digital technologies and their application in service to patrons.
  • A record of professional contributions.


Qualifications

  • Master’s degree from ALA (American Library Association) accredited program or its international equivalent; an advanced degree in another subject discipline is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in an academic or research library with responsibilities in the areas of collection development, research support or senior library management.
  • Experience with copyright and intellectual rights management, and a thorough understanding of academic publishing issues and trends in scholarly communication.
